Our First Lady

Our First Lady,  Karen Wright a native of Atlanta, GA, is the wife of Pastor Michael B. Wright, Sr. and the first lady of New Life Christian Church International. Mrs. Wright was very instrumental in assisting her husband, Pastor Wright, with establishing the ministry in 1998.

Mrs. Wright received her undergraduate degree from Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. Later she attended Lesley University for her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently working on her specialist and doctorate degree in educational leadership.  Mrs. Wright worked in Clayton County for one year and has served as an outstanding teacher in DeKalb County for the past 12 years.  She has taught grades 1st, 2nd, Kindergarten and has served as an after-school tutor for 5th graders.

First Lady Wright has spear headed Women’s Day Events, The First Annual Forever Always Love Winter Ball, The Praise Team, Ushering Board,
Kids’ Kingdom and our newly founded, “Sisters in the Spirit” Women’s Ministry.

Mrs. Wright and Pastor Wright have been married since 1995, she and Pastor Wright will celebrate their anniversary on June 18th. They have two lovely children, Michael Jr. (7) and MaKayla (6) Wright.  Mrs. Wright loves serving God and desires to be an instrument in saving others for Christ all the days of her life.
